Truck Cranes

History of EFFER

Effer has been a worldwide leader in producing the best cranes. Starting in 1965, they have established an empire over the years into delivering the best cranes on the market. Notably, they’ve been very popular with building high quality, powerful and effective truck-mounted cranes that have paved the way for their success into the medium-to-heavy truck-mounted crane markets.

After building some of the largest cranes, Effer has continued to establish market dominance by delivering easily-operable and installable cranes for a wide range of applications. Earlier on they had patented a new and exclusive decagonal-profile section boom which benefits from the high tensile strength of steel and drastically reduces the weight of the crane itself, thereby improving usage scopes.

Additional innovations from Effer include a Wind&Drive system, which makes the transition from crane hook to crane winch almost instant thanks to carefully designed integrated components. Simplify your work, ensure safety, and practice precision with an Effer Truck-Mounted Crane. Effer has continued to provide the best in terms of cranes, and therefore we stand as one of their proudest endorsers.

Benefits of EFFER truck-mounted cranes

With more than 40 models ranging from 2 to 300 tons in capacity, EFFER offers the best options for truck-mounted cranes for all commercial and industrial use.

The light weight of Effer’s crane allows for a greater residual load on the truck: greater useful load = less time = higher profit.

A lighter structure allows lifting to be more powerful. A lighter crane – with the same power – can be mounted onto a lower range truck.

An optional base and full extension allows rapid installation. Thanks to positioning flexibility, CroSStab reduces truck shifting, making Effer cranes time-saving and efficient. Easy reinstallation of CroSStab and V-Stab systems on a second truck maintains their value over time.

Effer offers stabilisation solutions for confined spaces while maintaining excellent performance of its cranes.

The High Speed System saves up to 50% of your time with each extension. The extensions comes out in sequence results in reduced crane weight, preserving greater lifting power and loading capacity while reducing working time.

The Pro.Dec system, controlling inward and outward boom extensions, makes load handling safer.

With integration of the Wind&Drive system, the winch stays attached in the same position on the crane, cutting down time for component mounting.

The use of anti-twist cables and the reduction of the arrow effect decrease the wear of components, extending their lifespan. Protection of the winch electronic parts reduces damage, saving maintenance time and costs.

The assembly of the mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systems of Effer cranes manages rotation movements with extreme precision.

Effer solutions for the two rotation systems ensure a precise monitoring of movements over the entire working area of the crane for maximum operator and load safety.

Large hydraulic pipes allow for maximum working power and speed right from the first manoeuvres. Effer’s speed control system PROGRESS 2.0 prevents all sudden crane movements, improving the safety of people and that of the load.

To meet the demands of the market, Effer plays host to some of the best experts in the crane-world and ensures that you receive the support and expertise you deserve.

To stay ahead of the competition, Effer has ensured to keep their R&D department well on their toes, to ensure the development of the most advanced pieces of crane technology, many of which are available right now in the latest Effer cranes.

Since their inception, Effer has delivered the most durable cranes which have been specially produced under the most scrutinous tests. Moreover, they are made in Effer’s factories to ensure quality and performance.

Certifications

ISO 9001
TÜV SÜD, a quality assurance

Effer SPA obtained for the first time in 1994 the certification for its Management System for Company Qualiy in accordance with ISO 9001 norm, reference standard for management Systems for Quality and internationally recognized.

The main advantages deriving from the application of this norm are:

  • Increase in client’s satisfaction level – through product, processes and service quality improvement.
  • Risk reduction – constantly conforming to a quality standard level, granting for products and services responding to clients’ needs.
  • Increase in organisation effectiveness, productivity and then profitability.
  • Acknowledgement by the market and competitive advantage – affirming Effer’s skills thanks to the most famous quality management system.

This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. These principles are explained in more detail in ISO’s quality management principles. Using ISO 9001 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good-quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.

ISO 9001
Marine crane certification

Bureau Veritas is the world’s leading testing, evaluation and risk analysers in the field of Quality, Environment, Health and Safety and Social Responsibility (QHSE-SA).

The certificate issued by Effer attests that we produce our marine cranes with an internal process (monitoring and management) that meets the quality standards established by BV. This is particularly important since certification takes into account not only the product, but also the organization that produces it.
